Maine Seasons Events design for March Flanagan's Table Grace Restaurant Dinner

For the March dinner at Flanagan's Table, the inspiration came from stained glass.  Grace restaurant is housed in a restored antique church in Portland, Maine and the interior gave us guidance for the table design.  Brea McDonald took the beautiful photos.  We are honored to be able to participate in this event, and look forward to the challenge of coming up with new designs for the monthly dinners.
We made a printed burlap table runner that echoed the shape of the windows in the restaurant, and used our assortment of stained glass inspired metal candle lanterns and diffused hurricanes for the candle light.

Overhead, we installed a constellation of illuminated star lanterns that came to life once the sun went down.  The patterns on the lanterns reminded me of stained glass and in the colors of the windows in Grace itself.

Hanging overhead we installed a mix of stained glass and Moroccan inspired lanterns with flickering candles.

I love this simple and beautiful shot of the drinking water vessels on the marble bar...

Guests are seated at a 44 foot long barn wood table for dinner.

A few of my favorite photos of the evening: the glow of the lanterns, flickering candles and illuminated happy guest faces.
